REAVER TROOP CARRIER... If I have a warrior in my Reaver and someone puts someone in the outpost, can the warrior in the Reaver be transfered to the outpost with the Reaver? What if I have three warriors in the Reaver in the above senario? Do all three have to be transfered at once? Does it Cost four actions (Three warriors +1 for the vehicle)? Or Six (Three warriors +3 because they each are in a vehicle)? Since the Reaver stays in place and is not a warrior which can be transfered, you must have a warrior exit the Reaver and then transfer down alone. - Shrieketh...the first edition of this card says that when the equiped warrior kills anyone he may place a "Heretic CARD" in his kohort for free. I know that this means the 2/2/2/3 HERETIC that sucks. However the Unlimited Edition say to place a "Heretic" not specifically the Heretic "CARD". You say to go by the Unlimited text, so does this mean any warrior that is considered a Heretic can be added when the Shrieketh kills something? Yes. -Joker!...Can this card copy an Allience card? What about a card you can only have one of in play (like Club Arkadin)? Joker says to obey the rules of the card you're copying... And since you cannot add a copy of an Alliance into play where there is already one in play, you may not use th Joker to copy an Alliance. -Dark Huntsman... The Huntsman "Cannot be atttacked by corperate Doomtroopers". If I give a Corp Doomtrooper a card that lets him attack any warrior in play can he then attack the Huntsman? Yes. -Prophet/Patriarch... These warriors can only be attacked if they are the only type of warrior card in the outpost. If I have a Prophet and another type of warrior in my outpost and my opponent has a warrior that can attack any warrior in play. Can he use that warrior to attack my prophet? No. They may only be attacked if they are alone. -Can this combo work... Eaonian Justifier/Flow of Acid. I put the Flow on the Justifier and use it. The Justifier may never be in combat but using Flow is considered an attack action. Can the Justifier still use the Flow of Acid? If it can and I have the Prison Work Camp out can I imprison the Doomtroopers I wound with the Flow of Acid and put them in the Camp...? Nope. The Justifier may never be in combat, and therefore may never spend attack actions. -Flow of Acid/ Winds of Insanity... can these cards be used to wound Apostles/Corp Leaders? In an earlier question you said that "-" on a warrior equals "0" or is this only for warriors that can participate in combat? I'm not sure when I said that, but the "-" does not mean 0, it means it is unable to use that stat. The Flow/Winds has no effect on Apostles/Leaders. -Storm of Chaos... if someone stroms me and I play Reflection can I hit him with the Storm? Reflection say it hits the "Caster" and the "Caster" of a spell is always the warrior casting it...I can't make a warrior discard his hand...so am I forced to fizzle the Storm? No. The spell is reflected back on the Castor and his side. You may Storm the player. -Annihilation... If someone casts Annihilation and I play reflection is the warrior that casted the spell only thing that get Annihilated? (What about his Attachments?) No matter who casts the spell or where it hits, everything is annihilated. -Envision... Someone's Brotherhood warrior (out of cover) casts Envision on my Dark Legion warrior (In Cover) and I respond with a reflection can I force his Caster to be discarded or once again am I force to only fizzle the spell since the caster isn't a legal target? The castor is not a legal target, it is fizzled. -Cardinal's Bank... SwaraX says the bank only protects your "Earned" Destiny. So is your beginning 5 D considered "Earned" (I said yes)? Yes. -Cardinal's Bank... If I have a Cardinal's Bank out and an opponent plays Attrition; When my draw phase comes around do I get to ignore the Attrition or do I still have to pay it to avoid losing my stuff? You still must pay, because spending D for attrition is OPTIONAL. -Winds of Insanity... I have 3 screaming legionaires out and I invoke the Dark Symmetry Winds of Insanity. I play Excruciating Power Flow on the Winds and spend 5 D. Do the Winds do 8 damage( 1+3=4, 4x2=8) or 5 damage( 1x2=2, 2+3=5)? The Power Flow only affects the Dark Symmetry itself, not the +1's from the Legionnaires. The result is 5. -Fruits of War... I have Fruits on one of my warriors. My opponent has PAP Mine on one of his. He attacks my warrior and uses the mine. I respond first with Narrow Escape then use the Fruits to attach his PAP Mine to the warrior he tried to kill. Was all that perfectly legal? No. the PAP mine is annihilated as a result of its use. It isn't there anymore. -Fruits of War... I have Fruits on my warrior who also has a PAP Mine. I attack my opponents warrior and use the Mine. He does nothing so I use the Fruits to re-attach the PAP Mine to my warrior. Was all that perfectly legal? No. Same reason. -Field Repair Kit... I have a warrior with a PAP Mine and a Repair Kit. I use the PAP Mine on my oposing warrior. I then use the Repair Kit to Reshuffle the PAP Mine back into my draw Pile. Was all that perfectly legal? No again. -Erwin Stahler... If Erwin is in the Kohort is he only considered a Dark Legion Warrior? If I move him to the Squad is he only a Doomtrooper? The Card says he is considered a Doomtrooper and a Dark Legion Heretic, does this means that he is both affiliations at all times no matter where he is ? He is always condiered both a Doomtrooper and a Heretic. -Erwin Stahler... In my Kohort I Have: Erwin, Citodel of Muawijhe with Nekromakina attached),and a Nepharite of Muawijhe (with Shriketh attached). If I attack an opponent with the Neph and play a Misfire on the Shrieketh so that I shot Erwin. Erwin dies and no points are earned. Then Since I killed A Doomtrooper (Erwin) I can use Nekromakina to add a Screaming Legionaire to my kohort for free. Since The Neph just killed a warrior I get another Screamer for free. And since the Shrieketh just killed a warrior I get to add a Heretic to my kohort for free, so I put Erwin right back into my kohort like nothing happened. Is this combo perfectly legal? If not what is wrong? (also could I play Life Insurance on Erwin when he is killed to get 7 D?) Hmmm. Seems OK to me. -Misfire... If I attack my opponent with a shoot weapon and he plays Misfire to make me attack one of my own warriors does the origional combat Vs. him still happen after the Misfire? No. the Defender has changed. -Misfire... Can a misfire be used to make a warrior hit himself? No. A warrior may never attack itself. -Misfire... When my warrior is attacked can I play a misfire on my own warrior's shoot weapon to make him hit a squad/kohort member so he doesn't have to fight the opponent's warrior? Yes. -Nekromakina... Can I use Nekro when I kill a Doomtrooper that isn't worth any points? The Card says it can be used when you kill a Doomtrooper, and as a result of using it is that the Doomtrooper is worth no points. That is fine, as long as you have KILLED the Doomtrooper in combat - not just discarded it. -Kritana... When Kritana bestows Dark Symmetry does it still cost actions? (She just say she can bestow any Follower of Ilian with any Dark Symmetry card...it doesn't mention at no action cost) Then you can assume you still have to spend actions. -Destroyer... If I have a destroyer use an Anti-personnel Grenade to wound a warrior is the warrior I hit Auto-killed and Annihilated? Or is the Grenade considered what is doing the wounding? The Grenade is doing the wounding - no Autokill. -Death Maze... A funny rumor is going around that Death Maze can only be used when defending...is this true? Nope. -Suicide Mission... Does this mission still earn promo or only destiny now? You kept saying that you may NEVER earn promo from killing one of your own warriors, even at the expense of the enemy. But YOU did not kill the warrior - your opponent did! You may earn Promotion Points. -Assassination/Prove your Valor... These missions both ask the player to Pick a warrior in play to Assassinate/Prove with your warrior. Do you have to assign the victim immediatly after assigning the mission or can you wait (like a sergeant)? Immediately after assigning. -Assassination... Do you have to auto-kill a healthy warrior in order to complete this mission or does the selected warrior just have to be healthy when this mission is assigned. The warrior just has to be healthy. No autokill is necessary - you can use two attacks to do it. -Spy in the Ranks... My opponent just completed a mission with one of his warrior by killing one of mine. I play Spy in the Ranks. Do I earn only Destiny (since it was one of my warriors who was killed) or Promo? Once again you said you may NEVER earn promo from the death of one of your own warriors, just Destiny. Again, YOU did not kill your own warrior. You may earn Promotion Points. -Plagerize... When you Plagerize a non-personality warrior's abilities do you ignore any names mentioned in the abilities. Such as: my opponent has a Grey Mystic("GREY MYSTIC May be bestowed with any Ki Power at any time at no action cost") if my Ilian Cultist Plagerizes this ability is the name "GREY MYSTIC" replaced with "Ilian Cultist" so that the Cultist can actually use the ability? Or does she have to magically become a "Grey Mystic" before she can use the plagerized ability? Yes, the names are replaced. -Plagerize... When you Plagerize a warrior do you gain the Bold text AND the plain text, or just the plain text. Such as: I plagerize a Dark Mystic, the bold text says "HERETIC" is my Plagerizer now a "HERETIC" or does it just gain the ability to have Ki Powers as if it were a Mishima Warrior? You get everyting in the text box. the Plagerizer is now a Heretic. -Advanced Security System... Can I attach multiple Systems to the same Fortification? Whoops. that's a bit of errata. No - multiple attachments are not cumulative. -Advanced Security System... Can this card be attached to Portible Force Shield? Yes. -Improve Self... Can a warrior cast multiple Improve Selfs during combat to keep doubling its ratings? Yes. -Improve Self... Does this card double the "Base" or "Modified" ratings? Base. -Running out of Cards... Does the game end when One player runs out of cards or only after every player is out of cards. Only after every player is out of cards. This should be pretty clear in the rulebook under STEP ONE; DRAW. -Running out of Cards... When one player runs out of cards does the game end immediatly after he draws his last cards? Or the next time he has to draw when he has no cards left in his deck? He keeps playing and just doesn' thave nay more cards to draw. He also has to keep a warrior in play - check the rules. -Museum... I have a Museum out with one of my relics unfortunity attached to it. Can I play Strategic Restructuring on it to return it to my hand then re-play it on a warrior. Museum says the relic is still considered "IN PLAY" and Strategic pulls back a card the is specifically "IN PLAY". Yes, this is legal. -Double Duty... I Double Duty my opponent's warrior that has a hundred attachments. Then I play Strategic Restructuring on the Double Duty to pull my warrior back to my hand ("Any card that affects one affects both") so is my opponent's warrior also returned to his hand, and his one hundred attachments discarded? Yep. Cool, huh? -Mortal Wound... Can you Mortal Wound an Apostle/Corp Leader that somehow got wounded? (this is soon going to be abused in our games for victory) Yes. The Booby Trap/Mortal Wound combo is grim, but everyone is watcing out for it so it is not too bad. -Booby Trap... Can you Booby Trap an Apostle/Corp Leader when it is being added to play then follow with a Mortal Wound to kill it. (Another soon to be abused thing.) See above. -Mental Constitution... I give this card to a Doomrtooper who can cast the art of Mentalism. He gets into combat with a regular warrior. Can I cast Pacifism and say "I'm Immune to the Art, so HA!" and force his warrior to be discarded, but not mine? Yep. -Combat Modifiers... What cards count as "Combat Modifiers"? I think this is any card in the game that has a specific COMBAT ONLY use. Such as any "Play during Combat" special, or any "Combat Spell", or deciding to use an Equipment card that can only be used in Combat. One of my friends says that combat modifiers are only the cards that specifically give +? to F,S,or A. Whereas I think cards like Tactical Advantage are also Combat Modifiers. Who is right? You both are. Anything that affects a warrior's ratings or the combat in general or its status during combat is a combat modifying card. Since Doomtrooper is so combat-intensive, most cards are combat-modifying cards. -Changling Power... I have a Dark Mystic (4/5/5/7) with Changeling Power I give him a Carcass Suit (Base F x2 ,Base S =0, +5 to A) can I use Changeling Power to make him a (9/0/5/7) then give him a Carcass Suit to make him a (18/0/10/7) or does he have to be a (8/0/10/7) before I can use Changling power to rearange his F,S, and A? (so in other words which cards affect a warrior first, ones that affect Unmodified [chamgeling power] or ones that affect Base values [Carcass Suit] ) Both these cards affect BASE ratings, so once you affect a warrior with one its base ratings are now modified and the other card cannot be used. Make sense? -Changling Power... Can you arange the warrior's stats at any time, or only during combat. If only during combat then during what step(s)? Any time. -Changling Power... If I play Battle Madness on a warrior with Changling Power during combat can I use battle Madness to get rid of all his "A" to give him double that as "F" then use Changling Power to put double his origional "A" back? Then Repeat the process for infinite stats? Battle Madness says for every point you take out of a warriors "BASE" "A" you give him +2 to his "BASE" "F", I think this is errata that means to say add +2 to his "Modified" "F". (That way you can't infinitly recycle his stats with Changeling Power) See above - both cards affect BASE ratings so you may only use one.
